FlyLow Gear, the innovative ski apparel company founded by Colorado natives Greg Steen and Dan Abrams, announced today their commitment to supporting outdoor learning and active lifestyles by donating essential ski gear to the Poultney Elementary Ski Program in Poultney, Vermont.
The donation includes 10 premium ski gloves, 10 cozy hats, and a collection of vibrant ski stickers designed for helmets. This initiative stems from FlyLow’s mission to create durable, stylish, and versatile ski clothing, ensuring that individuals can fully enjoy their outdoor adventures.
Educator Smith Donelon, representing Poultney Elementary, reached out to FlyLow expressing the program’s urgent need for proper gear. Many students participating in the ski program lacked essential equipment, hindering their ability to fully engage in outdoor learning and team-building activities.
“Encouraging outdoor activities like skiing and snowboarding promotes lifelong healthy habits, fosters team camaraderie, and most importantly, adds an element of fun to learning,” said Principal Kristin Caliguiri
The donation from FlyLow not only fulfills the immediate gear requirements of the program but also aligns with the school’s core values of promoting outdoor activities as a means of education, team building, and fostering a lifelong love for healthy, active lifestyles.
