Yesterday, some students in grades 3rd through 6th were able to participate in a very magical activity!
Staff from the Poultney Public Library came and hosted a Harry Potter themed afternoon. Students were sorted into their Hogwarts houses, received a wand, and were able to make their own Harry Potter charm to hang from their backpack. In the background, you could hear the audio version of the first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Students learned what it meant to be in the four different houses (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin), and were able to cast spells at each other! Check out the highlights below.
